  • Would you consider yourself to be a Christian? If so, how did you become a Christian? If not, then what do you consider yourself to be?
I don't have a religion.
  • If you believe in God, what are 3 aspects of him that you believe? If you don’t, give 3 reasons why you don’t believe in him?
GOD? Reasons I don't believe. 1. I've never seen GOD. 2. GOD never talked to me. 3. GOD is no where to be found.
  • Do you think that God is still currently involved in our lives or did he just leave us alone after he created the world? Why or why not?
I wouldn't know. Never met him to ask him.
Don't know that either. I only hear things from what people tell me. I've seen movies, but then again. It's just movies.
  • Do you believe that Jesus was a good teacher, the Son of God, a combination of both, or something else entirely?
Pass
  • What is your view of miracles that appear in the Bible such as the healing of the blind man or Jonah and the big fish?
Did they really happen? Is the book the only proof that those things happened? Fiction or non-fiction?
  • Do you think that Hell is a fair punishment for those who don’t believe? Why or why not?
How do you know we are not already in H...E....double stick?
Nothing and no one is perfect.
  • Do you feel Christians are exclusive? Give reasons to support your answer.
I will not judge as I was raised to respect others.
  • Do you think that there will be other religious groups in heaven besides Christians? Why or why not?
There are so many of us who are different in our own ways and we share the same planet. Why can't we all be in the same place when we pass on?

  • Would you consider yourself to be a Christian? If so, how did you become a Christian? If not, then what do you consider yourself to be?

  • Nope I'm Ignostic.
[*]If you believe in God, what are 3 aspects of him that you believe? If you don’t, give 3 reasons why you don’t believe in him?
    I don't believe because:
    1) There is no definite proof a God exists.
    2) What is meant by "God" anyway?
    3) I see no point in placing faith in a higher power.
[*]Do you think that God is still currently involved in our lives or did he just leave us alone after he created the world? Why or why not?
    I don't know.
[*]Do you believe that Jesus came to die for us? Why or why not?
Perhaps he did, perhaps he didn't.
[*]Do you believe that Jesus was a good teacher, the Son of God, a combination of both, or something else entirely?
    I don't know.
[*]What is your view of miracles that appear in the Bible such as the healing of the blind man or Jonah and the big fish?
    Far fetched.
[*]Do you think that Hell is a fair punishment for those who don’t believe? Why or why not?
No. Just because I can't place faith in a higher power and figure which one of the many religions on Earth to follow, I get sent to Hell?
[*]Do you think that the Bible is accurate? Why or why not?
While the Bible is quality literature, I doubt that it's historically accurate.
[*]Do you feel Christians are exclusive? Give reasons to support your answer.
It depends who you talk to.
[*]Do you think that there will be other religious groups in heaven besides Christians? Why or why not?
If such a Heaven does exist, then yes.

  • Would you consider yourself to be a Christian? If so, how did you become a Christian? If not, then what do you consider yourself to be?
No. I consider myself to be a human.
  • If you believe in God, what are 3 aspects of him that you believe? If you don’t, give 3 reasons why you don’t believe in him?
I only have one reason: I don't need a deity in order to experience spiritual satisfaction. I like to keep things simple by shedding excess baggage.

N/A

  • What is your view of miracles that appear in the Bible such as the healing of the blind man or Jonah and the big fish?
I see them as stories, myths and metaphors, although I am open minded about the issue of healing by touch. Particularly in the context of Taoist practices like chi kung.
  • Do you think that Hell is a fair punishment for those who don’t believe? Why or why not?
N/A
  • Do you think that the Bible is accurate? Why or why not?
I think it's a book. There's a smidgen of history, a dollop of myth, a pinch of wishful thinking and a whole lot of human opinions, some of which may be insightful, but the majority of which are either common sense or past their "use-by" date.
  • Do you feel Christians are exclusive? Give reasons to support your answer.
Yes. If you think only your own social group is in possession of "the truth" and no other group has anything of use to offer, you're the epitomy of exclusivity.
  • Do you think that there will be other religious groups in heaven besides Christians? Why or why not?
N/A

Jesus in me
I'm curious about other people's beliefs. I came up with a short survey with a few a my friends in attempt to find out more about other people's religions no matter what they are. I would greatly appreciate any feedback from you.

I am a Christian. I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

I believe in God. He is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.

God is active in our lives. He said He would be and I experience Him.

Yes. He said so.

I believe that Jesus is God in the flesh.

I believe all the miracles occurred as reported.

I don't see Hell as a punishment for lack of belief but for open rebellion against God.

I believe the Bible is mostly accurate. The copiers of the Bible books were motivated to preserve the word of God.

Yes. Christians are aexclusive because God is exclusive.

I don't think anyone gets into Heaven because they are a member of a group. There will be individuals from other groups in Heaven but it will be rare. One might well ask: If it is so easy to get into Heaven then why are there so many people here instead?

braem21,

re: "If you believe in God, what are 3 aspects of him that you believe? If you don’t, give 3 reasons why you don’t believe in him? "

Because people cannot consciously CHOOSE to believe things, they will only be able to offer a guess as to why they don’t have a belief in a supreme being.
