Scholarship and research? Ask Levite?

im asking you, I know Levites take.

what do you tink really happened and at what date did it happen?

how did the information get passed down or was it written the next week after it had taken place???

I believe it as it's written. I don't know when it happened. Passed down through family and friends, written and/or oral, immediately.

I don't know

well then that is the jest of it then.

because there are answers to the questions I asked. and Not knowing is no place to begin a debate with.

and "I believe" based on faith is even worse for trying to understand history

You're right; I'm not sure which of your scholars you think has the answers, but I'm not interested in them or debating about them.

well if your not interested in history, why comment in a thread about history?

Interesting to see how the Scriptures are turned, twisted, and depleted to fit each idea. This couldn't have happened like it says, or this isn't referring to what it explicitly says it's referring to, or God didn't mean that, or God didn't say that.. Everyone's so set in believing that they have the authority to interpret it correctly. The hypocrisy is something.

what your saying here , I believe, is that theist twist and interpret it differently and you would like to get to the bottom of it, and know the real history

I know your not, saying only your interpretation is correct adding to the problem. Did I get thet right?

My study of the Bible has concluded with this: Calculating Bible history Isaac was born in the year 1918 BCE (before the birth of Christ). Jewish tradition, as recorded by Josephus, says that Isaac was 25 years old at the time of being offered as a sacrifice. He could have resisted his aged father, Abraham, but didn't. A great prophetic picture was enacted, portraying how Christ Jesus, the Greater Isaac, would in due time willingly lay down his human life as the Lamb of God for mankind’s salvation.

What I said, believe it or not, was much more specific than that. Dealing with what the text explicitly states, rather than what may seem to need an interpretation.

that wasnt the question, nor statement implied.

were talking about real history here. Are you saying you refuse real history?
