ABRAHAMICS ONLY: The Tree called the knowledge of good and evil, (Genesis: a closer look) continued.

Why would anyone think that the tree was either good or evil? It wasn't. It was the tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil. That is an entirely different thing. When God cast Adam and eve out of Eden, He said, "Behold the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil." To me, this indicates that a KNOWLEDGE of good and evil--and being able to distinguish between them--is a godly trait.

@Bharat Jhunjhunwala @Katzpur so there's Adam and how did he learn about good and evil as Eve was there too? What if Adam didn't know how to communicate with Eve and so felt the need to wait 'till he had words?

What kind of tree was in the garden?
