Accepting religion for friends

Alright, i was not really born on a christian family but in a catholic family. I wanted to place this here so i can hear the opinions of actual christians. I recently changed into luciferianism yet sometimes i feel is an really lonely path since not a lot of people follow it. My point is , i sometimes wonder if going back into catholicism just so i can make friends, like going to church and meetings, most people seem to be christian or catholic and they always seem to talk happily about theyre religion.

I hope you dont think im trolling or anything, is just i cant force myself to believe on jesus and god and all that stuff , i feel forced and wrong like is not the path for me no matter how much hell damnation i have or how much jesus loves me, i feel im being dragged by the neck with chains and is awful.

Plus why you always try to convince other people into your religion? i mean is like forcing someone to adopt a puppy, fine you saved that puppy life but now what? you gotta feed it , take it to the vet, take care of him, you standing on the street giving out papers about salvation is like someone giving out puppies, fine you saved someone life, but it doesnt mean im happy taking care of the dog specially if someone forced me to have it , who knows, maybe i would like an cat better. I mean is not only accepting jesus christ , there are rules, church meetings, things you take for granted but are new and sometimes bothersome to others, just saying , what seems the best logical option to you doesnt means it is.

Has i said im not trolling, i just feel confused about my religion and sad of being so alone and yet having to accept an religion just to get friends, i dont know anymore.

And you don't believe you were a Christian when you were a Catholic? Who did you worship then anyway?

You should never change your path to make friends. That's not what it's about. I'm not saying I personally agree with your choice of religions, but if you will read my signature (in green at the bottom of my post), you'll see what I'm trying to say.

Well i never believed i was either both , it only happened because my mother forced me to. I enjoyed going to church with my mom to be with her, but i always just fell sleep and really didnt care. Just has an story said, my mom went to church to see god and jesus and talk to them but i went to church to see my mom and talk to her.

About christians , i never even knew they existed until i was like 18 years old , i believed catholics were the only ones who believed in jesus, i have no idea of what a christian is or actually believes in.

Catholicism is a branch of Christianity. The other branches of Christianity include: Orthodoxy, Protestantism, and to stretch, Anglicanism and Mormonism.

The one common denominator in all of these denominations are that they all believe in Jesus Christ, and that they are all Christians.

Christianity has so many differing denominations, and since you desire to explore Christianity to make friends, well, I can offer two non-dogmatic denominations: The 'Unity Church' and 'Quakerism.'

HOWEVER, since you do profess to be a Luciferian, I strongly suggest you look into the religion of Unitarian Universalism (generally shortened to the 'UU Church'). You will be able to keep your beliefs, make friends, and be in a spiritual community that respects freedom of belief. :)UUA: Visitors You can be Muslim, Christian, humanist, atheist, etc. and be part of their congregation.

You should be able to follow your own heart and your own beliefs... :)

Why not Try UU?
Accepting people, tend to be socially liberal,
no "belief" doctrines.
U can be U, and be sociable too. :D
