Adam and Eve on Opium

Cassiopia

Sugar and Spice
All was calm, beautiful and blissful as the Lord wafted his heavenly Opium in front of Eve's face.
"Oh Lord!" She exclaimed with a faraway look on her face, "You are so wonderful and beautiful! Thank you so much for this heavenly existence where life is eternal bliss, an orgasm without end..."
"Oh Yeah man..." Adam agreed as he sucked the sacred opium deep into his lungs; This is just farrrrr ooooout!"
"You are welcome." Said the Lord, "You can have an endless supply of Sacred Opium, and you will never die. You can have bliss without end, just so long as you are endlessly grateful to me for this blissful existence and, of course, remember never to take that other drug."
"Sure thing Lord. You are truly great." Adam replied from far away.
"We love you. We love this paradise." Said Eve as everything melted into heavenly bliss.

One Day in the middle of eternity, Satan crept into Eve's trip. "Hey Eve!" He said, "I've got a new drug for you called knowledge. It's not like Sacred Opium. It's better. You won't be in bliss all the time. In fact sometimes you will know great hardship and sadness that you would never experience while taking the Sacred Opium. But, with knowledge you can see, do and be things you have never imagined before. And, you will be able to make your own bliss if you want. There are many more kinds than you know. You will learn to feel things much more deeply in all ways than you do now. You will be able to reach out to the sun and to the stars. You will have adventures beyond your wildest fantasy's. You will know death. You will know mystery and uncertainty. You will know true freedom. You will have the potential to know everything.
Here you go Eve, have some knowledge..."

Even in the midst of her blissful Sacred Opium haze, Eve was tempted...

What should she do? What would you do? Who is being evil in this story?

"If the account given in Genesis is really true, ought we not, after all, to thank this serpent? He was the first schoolmaster, the first advocate of learning, the first enemy of ignorance, the first to whisper into human ears the sacred word liberty." - Robert Green Ingersoll
