After the 1000 Year Kingdom

Azekual

Revelations tells us that after Christ lays the smackdown on Satan and his followers, Christ will found a 1000 (or maybe it was ten thousand) year kingdom that will be the golden age of mankind.
But there's a problem, it has a time limit. From the beginning they claim it will last only so long. If it's one thousand years, we've spent more time waiting for it than we will spend in it.
However, the fact it will end begs the question: What happens afterwards? I haven't found anything about what is supposed to happen after the Kingdom.
Have any of you found anything in the books left out of the bible?

If not, what do you think will happen after the Kingdom?

The Apostle Paul has explained what will happen after the 1,000 years are ended.

1 Corinthians 15:24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. 27 For [God] “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone

Mankind will then live as 'children of God' We will live forever because death has been 'brought to nothing' and all Gods enemies are gone. God becomes our king and we will have the same perfect life that Adam and Eve enjoyed in the beginning.

We will finally be able to speak with God personally and he will speak to use personally. No more mediator will be required.

So we go back to the way God originally intended before the fall?

Some verses from the hebrew sciptures that show Gods purpose hasnt changed:

Psalm 37:28 For Jehovah is a lover of justice, And he will not leave his loyal ones.
עTo time indefinite they will certainly be guarded;
But as for the offspring of the wicked ones, they will indeed be cut off.
29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

Isaiah 65:17 “For here I am creating new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart. 18 But exult, YOU people, and be joyful forever in what I am creating

Isaiah 66:22 “For just as the new heavens and the new earth that I am making are standing before me,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “so the offspring of YOU people and the name of YOU people will keep standing

And John shows what he saw in vision...he saw the earth after the 1,000 reign of Christ:
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Humans serve there purpose then die.

except for the ones who will live forever ;)

Romans 6;23 For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 4:14 Whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty at all, but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water bubbling up to impart everlasting life.”

Revelation 7:16 "They will hunger no more nor thirst anymore, neither will the sun beat down upon them nor any scorching heat, 17 because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will guide them to fountains of waters of life

Why the heck would anyone want to live forever?

Because everyone else lives forever, you won't lose your family members. This also means you won't have to hide it.
Because all evil is gone, no pain or suffering will exist.
Basically it has none of the downsides of being immortal on Earth.

Sounds extremely boring. Also, how do you know you won't lose your family? What if you did. What if a certain family member you loved dearly was not rewarded with eternal life? How could you truly be happy? How can pain and suffering NOT exists if this happens?

To me this is all very symbolic. Remember that just a day is 1000 years with God, according to the NT, so 10,000 years is ages and ages, and that's exactly how I view it. I believe personally that Jesus heralded the advent of the kingdom and since that time humanity has slowly been progressing toward bringing that kingdom more and more. As for the reign of Christ, as I said, 10,000 years with God= practically forever. Christ is the mystic consciousness within all.

After 1000 years of peace, Satan is unleashed. There is a final battle and then judgement. The old earth is no longer of use...and is destroyed. Heaven, eternity...is in another place and specifically described in the Bible as a sort of cube with specific dimensions.

Revelations is a hella a book. Its the only book that confuses me. But there are very specific details within it.

perfect health, no more suffering, no more having to work for money to survive, live without stress or pressure or fear

live among family and friends who have no faults...who treat each other with love and respect always

work together to transform the earth into a paradise under Gods direction, live as creative beings, explore the earth, live among the animals who no longer fear you, learn to communicate with them... have communication with the creator of the universe

Who wouldnt want that???? Who knows... we may even get to explore the galaxies and have all eternity to do it!
