I'm looking forward to the afterlife.
God may have designed the afterlife for us.
Alternatively future scientists could have designed an afterlife for us.
But even if God doesn't exist, and time travel is not possible (for future scientists to travel back and transfer our consciousness to the afterlife realm/virtual reality a nanosecond before we die),
it doesn't matter because we'll not be aware of it anyhow - we'll be dead.
I can't help but hope there's something exciting waiting for us.

The Love Boat?

Is this going to mess with my Love Boat fantasy?
I'd imagine the afterlife will be mostly indistinguishable from the beforelife
I hope there isn't an afterlife.. though, reincarnation might be an interesting experience... but what can be gained if you have no memory of it?
