To me Kaali is the fullness of deep sleep, which apparently is black because of absence of all kinds of contrast whatsoever. It contains all seeds and is the knower of the seeds, that which is called Sarvesvara - ‘All Lord’ in Vedanta..

Thanks for bringing this thread to my attention!

This is a video I have been meaning to see for some time. I found a documentary on Ramakrishna's Kali temple and a video on Shakta-Advaita that I have been excited about getting to as well.

Wish I could have my hearing back (which at one time was very sharp), but I know I will have to do without it. I am missing on so many things (but then I am thankful that I could hear so many things in the past). :(
