You would....:oops: Me too, and that is one reason I studied psychology for so long...

I would say sign me up, but I don't want to get led away from God again, since it took me about 42 years to find my way back to Him and the bedroom stuff was one reason I got led away.;)

Oh darn! You know you would be contributing a lot - and you don't have to necessarily read any of the naughty stuff. :D

But but but.... What else would there be BUT naughty stuff.:oops:
It probably is not worth the risk, that I might get led astray again, at this stage of my life. ;)
There is a good reason why they tell alcoholics to get rid of all the bottles in the house...
But you can go to the room and report back to me.... :D

Perhaps he's a Catholic who secretly keeps a copy of Jiddu Krishnamurt's writings under his pillow at night in order to read them by flashlight under the covers when the Pope is sure not to be looking! Krishnamurti once wrote something along these lines, "The world over, so-called holy men have denied human sexuality and the beauty of women, but to deny the beauty of women is to deny the world as it is, is to deny life. Can that be genuinely holy?"

Thought provoking words, in my opinion!

I would not impose upon anyone the condition that they accept and embrace "human sexuality and the beauty of women", yet I have often thought that the holiest people are the people closest to the God of the Bible in spirit (assuming He exists) who it is said once looked upon the newly created world and pronounced it "good". Not "both good and bad", not "one part to be accepted and one part to be rejected", but simply all "good". In that spirit, I believe the holiest or most spiritual people among us look upon the world and do not reject human sexuality and the beauty of women as beneath them, unacceptable to them, nothing to them, or as bad.

Does any of the make sense, or should I quite taking those strange little pills my young nephew keeps giving me saying, "They're a new kind of super-vitamin. Just try them, Uncle Phil?"
And the beauty of men. Actually, cuteness.

I'm definitely not interested in the Eros Room(s) but am curious how secure they are. Do they have sufficient security to thwart Internet spiders/search crawlers? What I am getting at is the information protected so that a possible employer/anyone cannot google it and think, "Good freaking heavens!"

I think you'll be happy to know, Paul, that the Eros Room is indeed secure from internet spiders/search crawlers. Just heard back today. I knew that was true of the old forum software, but I wanted to be absolutely sure it was true of the current forum software. Thank you for an excellent question.

Outstanding, @Sunstone and the RF Team!

The Eros Room is a "private community" on RF that can only be viewed and accessed by people who have signed up for it. It features open and often explicit discussions of sex and sexuality, including discussions of what people like or don't like, how to do various things, advice about sexual matters, and so forth. It is certainly not for all tastes and sensibilities, but if that's something you'd be interested in, this is your chance to sign up for it.

The basic purpose and main rationale for the Eros Room is to provide a reasonably safe space to share potentially life enhancing, adult information with interested parties.

In addition to the Forum's standard terms and conditions, the Eros Room has special terms and conditions. Here are those special terms and conditions reduced to their four most crucial essentials:

You must be 18 years old or older.

You must agree to keep any and all personal information you learn about other members in the Eros Room in the Eros Room. What is said there, stays there.

You must NOT criticize or condemn anyone's sexuality, sexual expression, gender, or orientation. The Room is for sharing information that might be of value to you in enhancing your life, but is not a place to criticize, shame, or condemn others, even in general, impersonal terms.
For instance, it's never yet happened, but if someone advocates an illegal activity, do NOT confront them with it -- simply report the post to the mods and move on.

While discussions are expected to often be explicit, they are moderated to insure they do not become, lewd, vulgar, or sexually demeaning. The Eros Room is no place for "locker room" talk (if there really is a place for that at all).
Again, the Forum's standard rules still apply except for any restrictions on explicitly sexual posts.

It is crucial you consent to and abide by these special terms and conditions. Failure to do so will be dealt with up to and including permanent banning from the Forum -- and probably dealt with more severely than an infraction of the standard forum rules if a breech of trust and/or confidentiality is involved.

Caveat: The Room is often inactive due to people forgetting about it or neglecting it. So don't be disappointed if at times you're the only one posting there. There is, however, a wealth of previous posts to go through that might be of value to you.

If this sounds like an opportunity you'd like to take advantage of, please post in this thread or PM one of the admins (The Friendly Folks Clothed in Red Usernames who are scientifically linked to nine-tenths of the nightmares suffered by active RFers).

Access to the Room free to all RF members 18 or over!
What the heck. Sign me up too.
