All beliefs have underlying assumptions and just because your assumptions make sense to you hardly means they are correct.



Nobody can function at all without beliefs and religion came first. Even the inventors of science had religion.



All reasoning is dependent on definitions and assumptions/ beliefs therefore all reasoning is circular. Why do you think science keeps getting itself in trouble? Spoiler alert; it's circular reasoning.

Our species "homo omnisciencis" can only reason in circles. There are no exceptions. I believe my assumptions were more correct than Egyptology's, Darwin's, or yours therefore my conclusions might more accurately reflect reality than yours. Our species starts with the answers and then works to prove them. This is as it must be because we experience all of reality only in terms of what we believe to be true.

However they have everything to do with science IMO. I believe that they are devolved from two distinct sciences, modern science you hardly understand and ancient science you don't believe exists. You can understand Ancient Language without understanding ancient science but you must understand modern metaphysics and the basics of how our language works. If you believe modern science is governed by Peers you can't even look at the facts because Peers believe in stinky footed bumpkins who dragged tombs up ramps. Science starts with hypothesis. There is no science until experiment has been properly designed and conducted and it is wholly irrelevant what Peers think about it. Experiment IS science NOT Peers.
