All Lives Are Equal, but Some Are More Equal than Others

Ah, just like when one says "black lives matter," instead of saying "all lives matter."

I've understood that "Black Lives Matter" slogan as meaning, "Black lives matter, too." But I can see how it could be read as "Only Black lives matter." I just doubt the latter was the intent of the slogan's authors.

I understand it in the same way.

I'm just pointing out an inconsistency of views I've seen from people of certain ideological perspectives who dismiss the response of "all lives matter" in response to "black lives matter," while also dismissing deaths caused by terrorist attacks by readily pointing out deaths in Muslim countries when attacks occur.
