All time worst movies

Just curious. Me and my friends are big movie watching freaks and we're always rating movies. I just was curious as to what everyone here thought was the worst movie you have ever seen?

For me: The Blair Witch Project
Not scary at all! Boring and pointless. Not to mention everyone thought it was real and it wasn't which was hilarious:biglaugh:

Blair Witch scared the crap outta me, actually--even if it's not real.

The worst movie I can think of right ow would have to be A.I., directed by Stephen Spielberg. It was a good premise, and I'm not saying it was directed badly, but I thought it was boring and that the script was entirely wrong.

Once again, standing_on_one_foot stole my answer!!! >.<

Yeah, that LOTR cartoon is probably the worst thing I've ever seen. Followed closely by Battlefield Earth.

Jewishdude is correct onBlair Witch. It was so hyped up, promoted like mad, and it was a terrible movie.

May I ask, at the end of the movie, the girl is screaming and running away from the "whatever it was". Why Is she still filming everything? And still tkes a shot of the guy standing in the corner, before dropping the camera.

Oh and I disliked Titanic. Exaggeration so that teen girls can see Leonardo Dicaprio.

Plan 9 from Outer Space... *shudder* (I think MST3k watched it once... not sure though)

This may be a little controversial, but LOTR - Return of the King.

The first one was ok, nothing to rave about, the second one was dull, and the third one...

YAWN! If I hadn't been there with friends I would have left about an hour in. WAY too long, dull, too much junk included, and badly acted. The effects were the only good thing, and as the second two matrix films showed us, you can't just make a film based on effects.

Dire.

The movies in the first list I have to admit I do have a LOVE/hate relationship with. I must have seen SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND at least 17 times (I have endured a lot of pain watching some of these movies). I LOVE the music in SGT. PEPPER'S and I thought the Bee Gees did a fine job performing the songs but I wasn’t convinced of the method of stringing the Beatles’s songs together to form a story. XANADU was like that-great music, terrible movie but I wouldn't mind watching it again.

PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE was indeed a turkey but it was a sincere turkey. Given the budget constrictions and the desire and passion of Ed Wood’s directing ability this movie far outshines any recent Hollywood endeavor. MST3K did not have the privilege to spoof this movie but they did have the opportunity to make fun of some of Ed Wood’s other films.

OKAY I beat you all! Flesh Gordon, a cheap rip off of Flash Gordon.70's "comedy", it featured robots made of tim cans with um, springs for "anatomy".

Oh, and it wasn't a porn, either.

TRULY a bad film (which is why I own it) !! I was going to include that one in my list but I thought it would be too risque for the site. It had an "X" rating when it was released in theaters but has since been toned down to a "R".

Eh, well, I quite disagree, but to each their own (although I don't think RotK was the best of the three by any means). I mean, I have similar opinions about the Harry Potter ones, and I definitely know people who would dismember me for 'em :p

Alright you guys, "The Haunting" TAKES THE FREAKING CAKE!!!! I'd seen it a long time ago, but didn't realize how awful it was because I was young and stupid. At my present older and wiser state, I saw it last night and almost threw my TV out the window until I realized that I could just change the channel. The real horror came in when my friend screeched and said "NO! turn it back I want to watch!" I just kept repeating the mantra of "Holy crap, this movie sucks." over and over in my head as my brain cells deteriorated.

Don't watch it, it's not good at ALL.

Mystery Science Theatre? With the 2 robots and Mike who make fun of movies? Oh, that is one of my favorite shows of the 90s comedy! My friends and I were in tears watching the one about Neptunians invading Japan! They really just point out the funny things in the movie and make smart-alec remarks on low budget movies!

And LOTR? Well I suppose you have to be a nerd and read the books like me 20 times to truly appreciate the movie! I really thought the 3rd Harry Potter Movie was awful compared to the great book! I really do like all the books!
