Jesus said what ever you do unto others that you did unto him.

if then this is true, am i your Jesus in a literal sense and you should worship me?

This goes back yet again to my comment in your other thread. Jesus seems to have been to some degree a mystic. He understood at some level that God is within everything. He was inviting the use of himself as a focus toward God. My opinion...

You see this devotion to guru most commonly in eastern traditions.

Go die on a cross, and if you resurrect then we'll talk.

no where in the bible does it say i have to do that.

jesus said i was him. unfortunately he said you were too; so i guess that really doesn't make me god's favorite.

John 14:20
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

so in some mystical way you and i have something intrinsically in common.

I think you're trying to stretch a misinterpretation. I believe the verse is telling us that we are all one (I know, a little Buddhistic but waddya gonna do?)

I am in you and you are in me seems to a far cry from you are me and I am you, don't you think? Try this; We are all one, but we are not the same.

No. Although the body is comprised of many people. It's the head of the body that is worshiped. (Col 2:19)

Gospel of Thomas
(5) Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you . For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest."

Whatever you do for others (say charity) you do for jesus.

So, jesus is you and whatever you do in his name affects him. So, if he crucified himself, he did so that you can crucifiy your sins in him. By doing so, whatever you do for others now you do onto christ.

You cant be a savior because when jesus died he took your sins and he (christian belief) saved you. If you saved me you would be indulting jesus because he said you no longer need to do sacrifice an animal to ask forgiveness. You do nothing. He does it all.

Do unto others as you would like them to do the same for you is when you accept jesus what you do for others is the same as doing it to christ. So, do good things unto others and you will recrieve good things from christ in return.

If your actions to others affects christ, the idea is you do things so christ wont suffer. Doing this is doing charity and things for the good of god's (father) people.

Being a savior to others is an insult to christ.
