What I fear is that the information we get from the closed hearings could be filtered. Taylor might have said other things that mitigated what we've heard, but we don't know since we don't have the full transcripts, if I'm not mistaken. Also, he tells it from his point of view anyway and how he interpreted the information he got, and I'm not sure he was part of the inner circle for these things, so in the end, there's a risk things could be somewhat exaggerated or even misunderstood. With that said, it wouldn't surprise me he's right.

We'll get all that info eventually. Remember, we're still in the impeachment investigation phase. The actual "impeachment hearings" haven't started yet.

The irony there is, by declining to conduct a DoJ investigation, Trump's AG Bill Barr likely screwed up. He could have taken the initial information and WB complaint, started an investigation, conducted it out of sight, and eventually concluded that nothing improper had been done. But instead he tried to protect Trump by hiding the WB complaint and refusing to initiate a DoJ investigation. So now it falls on Democrat-led House to carry out the investigative phase, which is obviously what Team Trump doesn't want.

In addition, a former Ukrainian deputy prosecutor and top anti-corruption activist have said the investigation was dormant at the time. And chief prosecutor Viktor Shokin's successor, Yuriy Lutsenko, has said in interviews this year that Hunter Biden didn't violate any Ukrainian laws.

Hey! genius. Obama didn't illegally hold back the aid so that Egypt investigates his political opponents and break the law.. But don't let little details like this get in your way or anything.

This isnt just about bidens son. This is about biden himself. Biden has already been proven to lie. He said he didnt talk to his son about the gas company. His son said he did. Thus, biden lied.

Now, shoktin, the prosecuter biden got ukrain to fire, he said he was investigating bidens son as well as the gas company. Biden denies that shoktin was investigating his son. Is biden lying or is shoktin?

Besides, my understanding is that Biden is being investigated by the DoJ. Just not by the President. He's not an investigator and he has a conflict of interest, therefore, proper authority that's created for the purpose is doing the job they're supposed to do, so the president can do the job he was supposed to do.
