Are you American?

:D

The purpose of this thread is just to know how many/the percentage of Americans here on RF. I noticed that most of the time the location of members I see is somewhere in America.

No ulterior motives :angel2:

I'm North American (Canada) but I'm not American (USA)... So I guess it's a no!

Plus I live in the UK, so... :p

Okay, we have 4 Americans and 4 non Americans. It's a draw :D

I actually cannot distinguish Americans and English-Canadians apart :)

Wait, how can we tell?

There's really not much of an actual difference. Just think of Canada as an American state - kind of like a less cool version of Wisconsin.

I wonder if the exclamation point means American and proud of it? I was born in the USA and lived here most of my life. I live in Maine now. I love it! But some Mainers say do not tell people what a great place it is....so they won't move here. We like our space.

Maine... the home of lobsters :D

Dunno if the exclamation would imply such a thing, but I didn't mean that anyways.

But still, why not? People are who they are and they can be proud of it why not if they want :)

I voted as American because technically I am, but I do not see that as an important part of my identity.

Since my location is apparent I'll get nitpicky:D

America is a big place, two continents. Luis and Wirey are just as American as I am. But they are not Usonians.
Jus' sayin'
