You know.I'm curious, a fair amount of my ancestors were dishonourable, wifebeating, alcoholic, gambling adicts, so should you still venterate them?
Well, how do I proform these sacrafices?
Personally prefer to allow the dead to remain buried as if we had connected with their soul when they were alive, we remain connected for ever or else it is only a social norm or ritual one may follow.Ancestor worship

Well, that would be praying to something, that doesn't exsist (yet), so I doubt they could hear my prayers. No, wouldn't it make more sense to pray to your future relatives? They can actually make things happen that you wish, you just have to have complete faith that they'd do it.
But if they had time machines, you wouldn't need the faith, they can come help YOU right before YOUR own eyes.

Thats not so much worship though, thats more asking favours (but I can see where you are coming from)Though they will...
Write your wishes down, pass them down for generations.

That is very wise, thank you.Perhaps you can think of it this way:
Some of your ancestors did things that you know aren't right. In remembering them, you can remember to do better than they did. In that way, you can honor them by becoming a better person than they were.
