Actually, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread. I imagine that a lot of the media out there wanted to sensationalize Steve Irwin's death but that they felt limited by what parents might not want their children exposed to- or, for that matter, people who grew up with him in their lives (albiet through the tele) and felt a connection. With Anna Nicole, I imagine that they might think they're now free to mock her life, or to exploit her death. It seems sad on every level. I don't claim to know much of her personality, but I would never wish someone such a hard last year as she appears to have had.

in all honestly i'm not sad to see her go, i am however, sad that the baby will have to go through all of the legal troubles, i hope she is lucky and winds up in a good place.

Destiny...she was half lit most of the time. I don't think the world will miss her much.
