P.S. Mike ~ it's Armand, with an 'a' - not an 'o'. It may seem like a small thing, but it's really bugging me.

sorry, that was a typo.... ok, maybe several typos, but still :p

i think Lestat's entire character is shown in a different light in interview, than it is in both lestat and QoD, because interview was Louis' perception of Lestat, and once you know Lestat's history, you realise how Louis made a few judgemental mistakes, eventhough the judgements were justified (if any of that makes sense?)

anyone else got any complaints about this film, queen of the damned?
Vampire books? Haha, you are so goth...

I never read Queen of the Damned, but nevertheless I thought the first half-hour of the movie was stupid enough to cause me to change the channel. I particularly disliked the use of John Davis (from Korn) for Lestat's singing-double. They should have contracted Peter Murphy, or what's-his-name from Sisters of Mercy to do the vocals.

Mate, you've typed it that way in every thread you've ever posted in. :p

That's basically what I said. ;) I just don't think any of them looked right.

Lestat 'sang' several songs on the movie...I thought that the people who sang them on the soundtrack sang them in the movie?

Guess I didn't take that much notice when watching the movie.

I'm sorry, I'll shut up now. I'm about to go hunting to see if I can find Memnoch the Devil and The Vampire Armand. :p Wish me luck! :run:

Armand was there...that whispy hippy vampire boy at the end with the long blonde hair? That was supposed to be Armand. Get's better. The old dude in the coat that mooched around after Maharet? That was Mael.:sarcastic Yes, he was a young blonde druid if ever I saw one.
If it weren't for Stewart Townsend in leather pants :)faint: )and the soundtrack, no redeeming features.
A prime example of what happens when a studio does nothing with the movie rights for seven years and then realises they're going to blow their money if they don't cobble something together in a hurry.

I managed to get Blood and Gold and Vittorio The Vampire the other day...I've already got Pandora and...something else I can't remember right now lol. But, since I want to read them in order, I'll have to wait until I can get my hands on Memnoch before I can continue. QTR informs me she has Armand, so that's one less to look for. :p
