Silly Questions said:
Have you ever lied?
Have you ever stolen anything?
Have you ever lusted after another person?
Have you ever coveted something owned by another person?
Have you ever used God’s name in vain?

Here's some equally silly questions -- just more positive:

Have you ever told the truth?
Have you ever given anyone a gift with no strings attached?
Have you ever given pleasure to someone you lusted after?
Have you ever been inspired by someone's example to do better?
Have you ever refused to swear in front of someone because you knew it would upset them?

And here are a few more silly tests of whether you are a bad person:

Have you ever been true to yourself?
Have you ever compromised with a friend or lover so that you both got some of what you wanted?
Have you ever tried to cheer up a friend who was feeling down?
Have you ever helped someone with their dishes?
Have you ever avoided an unnecessary fight?
Have you ever helped someone with their homework?

If you answer "yes" to any one of the above questions, then maybe you ain't all bad -- depending on what you accept as good or bad.

We don't have to teach children to be bad. Think about that. :)

It's not nearly as simply as you make it out to be. Some behaviors we consider bad seem to come naturally to children. But so do some behaviors we think good. It's a mixed bag -- at least, according to the scientists. Think about that.

Define bad. Children getting into trouble is not bad, they are learning. We are animals and we start learning through investigation and conditioning. Children are born neutral, perhaps they have more chances of going one way or the other because of genes... But you are right, we are naturally curious and get into trouble. If your child burns your house down and disects the family cat, then you have a problem, and it's likely partially your own fault.

Some things that people think of kids doing wrong, isn't actually unhealthy in the least and is part of the growing up process. Most studies show that what kids need the most is love and validation, not to be programmed with a list of things to do and not to do. Doesn't mean there is no structure or rules, such as certain times for certain things or finishing chores or homework before play, but your kids won't turn into bad apples because of a lack of instilled morals. It really comes down to them after they leave their parents' as being a major influence in their daily life, if they ever do.

Have you ever told the truth? Lots of times
Have you ever given anyone a gift with no strings attached? Haven't we all?
Have you ever given pleasure to someone you lusted after? I don't recall lusting after...wait, I forgot about...him. ;)
Have you ever been inspired by someone's example to do better? Certainly
Have you ever refused to swear in front of someone because you knew it would upset them? All the time.

And here are a few more silly tests of whether you are a bad person:

Have you ever been true to yourself? I try to be
Have you ever compromised with a friend or lover so that you both got some of what you wanted? I do that all the time.
Have you ever tried to cheer up a friend who was feeling down? Yes
Have you ever helped someone with their dishes? Yep
Have you ever avoided an unnecessary fight? I don't like fighting, so yes.
Have you ever helped someone with their homework? Yup.

Thanks, Sunstone, maybe I ain't so bad after all. Except I used the word "ain't" on purpose. :D You're not such a bad guy yourself.

What do you mean? as a children grows up he learns both how to be bad and how to be good depending on the child (and he will learn both)

The amount of bad and good he "is" will be a mixture of genetical make up and enviromental conditioning.

What happens if I answer "yes" to all of the above?

Am I really, really bad -- or really, really good -- or just a person? (Pick really, really good at being a person!)
