How nice that you've found solid scientific support for you presuppositions.
What is it about the first paragraph that you didn't understand?

Victor; I understand that you are trying your best to be what you think God wants you to be, and to think what he would want you to think.

The purpose is admirable. I think you have the message wrong though.

There is a thread on here titled domething like "Embarassed to be a Christian"; with all the best will in the world, I have to admit to feeling that way when this subject comes up.

It's interesting that the authors identify several attributes of marriage that are present in all societies and cultures, but then go on to deny that marriage has an instinctual component.

you know my society had gay marrage... didn't bring about our downfall now did it?
people who wanted to stop our traditions, including gay marrage... did
how Ironic... maybe the drive to prevent gay marage is really what distroys societies and nations?

wa:do[/QUOTThat is an excellent point, painted wolf; just look at this forum, as a microcosmic example of society as a whole.

Christian against Christian, frayed nerves and tempers; you are right, as usual.

Could I not say the same? :)

We disagree.

I feel that way when someone call's themselves a Christian and is preaching abortion. It goes both ways Michel.

I don't hold to that.

I accept that, Victor. No doubt, when the great day comes, we will find out who is right, and who is wrong. I think God might forgive whichever one of us is wrong though, because the motive, the heart was doing what it thought best.

I hope you are right. I will embrace my flaws and correct them if need be. I hope you are willing to do the same at the risk of your strong emotions. Not easy to do.

Of course; but my guide will be my 'talks' and meditations with God.

That is absolute nonsense. What lengths do you maintain that peer-reviewed science goes to in an effort "to justify their own particular take on this issue"?
I think your comment is absolute nonsense, I fail to see what science has to do with this issue. I hardly think science applies here. Unless you have equations which are peer reviewed and prove that same sex marriage is mathematically correct.

I don't hold to that.
perhaps our acceptance did give us a disadvantage, after all we wern't expecting to be hunted down like animals, but we are still here and still un-doomed. Creator kept an eye on us eaven through the darkest times, no doubt he will continue to do so. :D

Huh? Could you rephrase your point in a way that is coherent and bespeaks some knowledge of what science is about?

1 man and 1 woman = 2, that is m+w = LM, I trust that is clear enough ? :sarcastic
So why don't Liz and I equal 2? What are we, 1.5? 1.8? Maybe just 1?

I'd be more than happy for you all to go arguing amongst yourselves, so if you please, I would like to concentrate on my main interests and not be sidetracked into issues which do not really concern me.
