people who wanted to stop our traditions, including gay marrage... did
how Ironic... maybe the drive to prevent gay marage is really what distroys societies and nations?
wa:do[/QUOTThat is an excellent point, painted wolf; just look at this forum, as a microcosmic example of society as a whole.
Christian against Christian, frayed nerves and tempers; you are right, as usual.
Could I not say the same?michel said:Victor; I understand that you are trying your best to be what you think God wants you to be, and to think what he would want you to think.
We disagree.michel said:The purpose is admirable. I think you have the message wrong though.
I feel that way when someone call's themselves a Christian and is preaching abortion. It goes both ways Michel.michel said:There is a thread on here titled domething like "Embarassed to be a Christian"; with all the best will in the world, I have to admit to feeling that way when this subject comes up.
I don't hold to that.painted wolf said:you know my society had gay marrage... didn't bring about our downfall now did it?
Maybe.painted wolf said:people who wanted to stop our traditions, including gay marrage... did

I accept that, Victor. No doubt, when the great day comes, we will find out who is right, and who is wrong. I think God might forgive whichever one of us is wrong though, because the motive, the heart was doing what it thought best.Victor said:Could I not say the same?

Of course; but my guide will be my 'talks' and meditations with God.Victor said:I hope you are right. I will embrace my flaws and correct them if need be. I hope you are willing to do the same at the risk of your strong emotions. Not easy to do.

Totally agree...:bouncemichel said:Of course; but my guide will be my 'talks' and meditations with God.
I think your comment is absolute nonsense, I fail to see what science has to do with this issue. I hardly think science applies here. Unless you have equations which are peer reviewed and prove that same sex marriage is mathematically correct.Deut. 10:19 said:That is absolute nonsense. What lengths do you maintain that peer-reviewed science goes to in an effort "to justify their own particular take on this issue"?
1+1 =2?Solon said:...prove that same sex marriage is mathematically correct.
perhaps our acceptance did give us a disadvantage, after all we wern't expecting to be hunted down like animals, but we are still here and still un-doomed. Creator kept an eye on us eaven through the darkest times, no doubt he will continue to do so.I don't hold to that.
I most certainly hope so..painted wolf said:perhaps our acceptance did give us a disadvantage, after all we wern't expecting to be hunted down like animals, but we are still here and still un-doomed. Creator kept an eye on us eaven through the darkest times, no doubt he will continue to do so.

Huh? Could you rephrase your point in a way that is coherent and bespeaks some knowledge of what science is about?Solon said:I think your comment is absolute nonsense, I fail to see what science has to do with this issue. 1 man and 1 woman = 2, that is m+w = LM, I trust that is clear enough ? :sarcasticVictor said::biglaugh: Good one.

So why don't Liz and I equal 2? What are we, 1.5? 1.8? Maybe just 1?Solon said:1 man and 1 woman = 2, that is m+w = LM, I trust that is clear enough ? :sarcastic
