Anti-theist

I think I have misunderstood the term in the same way. To me anti indicates being opposed to/against. Theist is a person.

For me, an "antitheist" seems like -- one who opposes theists (a person whose foundational belief system is that of opposing other people that hold theistic views.)

Otherwise, if it is not based upon opposing another for their views, then I don't see why the term atheist would not apply. I guess Antitheistic Atheist might come across more clearly to me. Either way, it seems as though it is not a belief system that believes anything in particular -- except that another group is wrong.
A person who subscribes to theism is a theist. A person who subscribes to atheism is an atheist. A person who subscribes to anti-theism is an anti-theist.

I can accept that definition. And, I can accept that some people choose to use that belief system. Anti-theism seems more limited as a belief system to me than theism could be, since its very existence requires the existence of something it does not believe in -- but, OK.

I already said: Anti-theism or anti-religion. I know what she and others mean by the term "anti-theist" but since a theist is a single person and theism is an idea, I think better terms can be used, that's all. Just my view.
I am just making a suggestion- no one has to follow or even listen to my suggestions, I just throw them out there just in case.

Who is this "we all" you talk about, o sentient being?

Theism and religion have had considerable political influence pretty much from their starts. That alone is enough reason to criticize them. It is not only a right, but in fact a duty.

There's really no duty to it, just being like "hahahahaha god doesn't exist you guys are idiots" wont get a few theists to vote in support of gay marriage, in fact, they might get offended enough to tell all of their friends to.

To be honest, I don't understand what being "anti-" anything means in most cases. Religion exists. It will continue to exist. Being anti-theist is like being anti-water. It's a label that carries no meaningful description.

I am only intolerant against the intolerant even if that makes me intolerant.

Anti-Theist = the same as saying i am Anti-Human (who thinks differently) it depends on what you mean by ''Anti''
If you mean in it in a militant way you should be locked up, if in not accepting ones beliefs or ideas who cares?
