Due to PCOS (an endocrine disease/disorder) I have a good chance of becoming a full blown diabetic by the time I'm 40, 9 years!
I was insulin resistant for years, then became pregnant and had gestational diabetes (my fasting was 170 when they discovered this). However, through eating a high raw diet, I'm talking kale-spirulina-berry smoothies and kombucha..I have reversed it.
I am still on metformin.
The only thing I notice know is low postprandial (after meals) numbers.
So, if I have something that I was sensitive to, my sugars might be 105 before my meal and 94 afterwards.
I know a lot of ppl take cinnamon for the BG, but it made mine high EVERY single time.
But, definitely not a chronic case, the lowest I've tested was 60 and the highest 182.
