Any Questions?

No, remembering something is a creative act.

Wrong line of questioning.

LOL, yeah. Imponderable. Seems to me that the whole business is really upaya, as opposed to 'facts about consciousness, self and will'.
Just do this and things work out.
Which is totally cool.
I was just curious to hear how you would answer. :)

Do you meditate, and if so what kind of meditation is it?
Yes, I practice a wide variety of types of meditation, including Zazen, vipassana, moving mindfulness meditation, my own styles of Sadhanas, mindfulness immersed in the body, western style liber mmm, occasional chi gong, occasional tai chi when the need arises, practicing the various formless jhanas, and various experimental stuff. While I may practice a wide range of types of meditation, I'm not really a meditation junkie.

Similar to me actually, experimentation is fun! Could you say what "liber mmm" is?

That's the coolest Jimi Hendrix album Jimi never made !
And I think it was probably major inspiration for SRV.
Gotta love the blues!
Rumor has it that Robert Fripp took guitar lessons from Robin Trower. ;)

That wouldn't surprise me. Trower had ship loads of technique.

Here's something Fripp said re musicianship, and the classical approach of playing the notes written in the score -

"It's only about.... after 1820/1830 that the idea became current. When Mozart and the classical team went round with a new violin concerto to their friend the violinist, who lived down the road; he would have played it and taken it as a basis for playing it, he wouldn't have played it note for note - and if he had, Mozart would have said "Hey, pratfeatures, what're you doing, can't you do anything with this?"; and now it has the sanctity of Holy writ! "

He's a good sufi ;)
