It doesn't sound all that different from many other exceptions to various laws.

Various kinds of housing discrimination are legal in senior housing, shared
housing, government housing, etc. Who knows what effect the law will have?
I'm skeptical, sounds more like scare-mongering. Can only wait and see what happens when it's actually passed.
When I was a licensed broker doing a whole lotta residential leasing,Wow, I'm not seeing that parallel at all - how did you connect those dots?
When I was a licensed broker doing a whole lotta residential leasing,
it was critical to be aware of all the exceptions to laws. They didn't
appear to cause much trouble, so it's possible that this new law
could be benign.
From the slightly biased article, I don't have a sense of its scope. This proposed law strikes me as being very different than what you're describing. It seems that you're describing specific laws for specific situations. On the other hand, this proposed WV law seems to be a sort of blanket, write-whatever-law-you-want sort of affair.

Quickly perusing it, I'd say it's all up to the courts to determine how it's implemented.Agreed that the article is biased. But it links to the actual bill! (Said bill seems alarmingly broad to me, 5-11C-4 being a real gobsmacker)
I don't see the article's necessity in associating this bill only with Christianity, it would be applied to any and all religions, or did I miss something?

Knowing nothing but discussed in the thread, it sounds more like an effort aimed at campaign sound bites than anything.Quickly perusing it, I'd say it's all up to the courts to determine how it's implemented.
That's plausible.Knowing nothing but discussed in the thread, it sounds more like an effort aimed at campaign sound bites than anything.

Have their been any cases which allowed bullying?Sounds like Indiana's crap "license to bully" law. Of course you can't discriminate against people, but if it's a "sincerely help religious belief" go ahead and discriminate away.
Not sure of bullying (I borrowed the term from previous laws that did allow bullying), but here they are very sensitive to "religious freedom" and making sure that people that have religious objections to homosexuals and transgenders are legally protected should they discriminate against those groups.Have their been any cases which allowed bullying?
