Apology to Revoltingest

Cockadoodledoo

You’re going to get me!
In one of my threads I made fun of your eating habits (bacon),
And insinuated you killed pigs.
The world is a strange place.
At the moment I eat eggs and cheese!
And I’ve learnt some bad things go on in the food industry.
Ideally I’d be a vegan but I’m vegetarian at the mo.
So you’re not alone.
I’m responsible for the killing of male chicks and the milking of cows.
So, I hope you’ll accept my apology,

Cockadoodledoo!

Very difficult to be 100% vegetarian/vegan :
1: Cheese is made using rennet [rennet which is derived from the stomach tissue of a slaughtered calf]
2: I used Albendazole to kill worms in my intestines
3: I stepped on worms, spiders, ants etc.

Knowing this makes you humble more aware, and easier to refrain from judging meat-eaters. Good thing about this awareness is that you become more sensitive, so also more in tune with creation and creator.

You're perfectly welcome to mock my food preferences.
(Many here do....especially @Wu Wei.)
Btw, one of my favorite restaurants in town is vegan (Indian).
I'd accept your apology, but you don't owe me one.

I only eat plants. Last night I had a steak. Since cows eat grass, steak is just concentrated grass.

I only eat plants.
I see that you are a second tier vegetarian, just like me. I feed my vegetables to animals and then eat the animals.
Wow. You two are practically photosythesizing.

Remember. The Whole Foods Plant Based diet (Particularly the Esselstyn version) is the only diet that has been shown to not only halt, but even reverse heart disease.

PS - for the OP. I’m sure he got over the blow, as soul-crushing as it may have been to a delicate and sensitive man like Revol.......
Sorry......:p I can’t type anymore:p for some reason....:flushed::smilecat:

You are so easy going! Why aren’t you a Mod?
If asked to serve (which won't happen due to some
friction with the mucky mucks), I'd refuse the job.
Consider the crosses which moderators must bear....
- Endless grief from jerks like me.
- No pay.
- No gratitude.
- Lots'o work.
The above disadvantages don't justify the singular perquisite
of being immune from moderation by their fellows.

Even a few months ago, when I actually considered buying RF (yes, it was up
for sale at an attractive price), I still wouldn't have meddled in management.
I like being one of the little people....just conversing with people.

@Wirey actually spent a little time as a vegetable.
Fortunately for him, the Canuckistanian medical services were effective.
(His brain revolted, & attacked him with a tumor a few years ago.)

Most cheeses aren't any more. Thing of the past, although you still have to read ingredients.
