Are babies atheist?

Some people believe in the Bible. The Bible says there is a God with a capital G and plenty of other gods. The Bible’s Many Gods | Gerald McDermott

So the Bible believers are polytheists and believe in the existence of many gods. Is that a belief system?
Bible believers also don't believe in the existence of some other gods, like Poseidon and Thor and Zeus and the like. Is that also a belief system?
If some Bible believers actively believe that Poseidon and Thor and Zeus don't exist would that be a belief system?
systems inherently cast out some ideas and keep others

they would not be 'systems' if all was accepted

atheism appears to be a system of denial

babies ARE blank slates

you may say if you want....the slate has form and function

but the first thing we learn is ....NO!.....followed by our names
Except the blank slate notion was discarded. It seems like a wonderful notion, but it is wrong. If babies are a blank slate, how do they learn to learn? Obviously there is a problem here. For if they can learn then they either already have the ability, i.e. not a blank slate, or they need to learn the ability which would require the ability to learn, i.e. contradiction.

compared to a computer? ( a poor likeness I think)

most items are blank we when buy them
we fill in the blanks

children are much the same

(they all seem to know how to smile....but that is not belief based)

Well babies cant smile at first. But they do have knowledge. Can't really have a blank slate if the slate has writing on it already.

The notion that humans are born a blank slate is neither backed by science nor basic common sense. How would babies know to cry when hungry? That is not something we teach. Humans have instinct, we just also have a great capacity to learn.

Yes. The default is atheism. They have to be taught how to be stupid enough to believe in gods, as that does not happen naturally in an individual without such cultural pressures.

Which belief system(s) do Bible believers adhere to?
