The same SCOTUS which decided RvW, Dredd Scott, Citizens United, etc.
I am not too fond of SCOTUS, myself.

When Ruth Ginsburg leaves, the SCOTUS will hopefully soon have one more conservatively minded Justice.

Some Christians I've spoken with do get confused about intersex persons, but in their defense, this does cast shades of grey into their black and white perspective of morality.

We don't need any court rulings to recognize that conversion therapy is clearly harmful. My state of Illinois has banned conversion therapy, but most states still allow this practice; so then, this issue may very well be decided by the SCOTUS.
I was under the impression "in a therapeutic setting" was implied by the "therapy" part of "conversion therapy" in the OP.No, you need to read and understand the Tampa ordinance. It does not specify that the communication need be in a "therapeutic setting". It is explicitly a speaker-based and content-based restriction on speech.
For recognised disorders. Not "as they deem fit".Parents can lawfully submit their children to psychotherapy in order to alter their children's behavior as they deem fit.
The judge did make suggestions on how the ordinance could possibly be fixed. But I'm not sure her suggestions would do the trick -- and she seemed skeptical also.I was under the impression "in a therapeutic setting" was implied by the "therapy" part of "conversion therapy" in the OP.

So are you saying it’s okay to “convert” someone’s sexuality when most of the time it doesn’t work and often results in forms of ptsd and various other mental disorders?Parents should have the right to get their kids interested in being with the team that plays with different equipment; so then, if its their only child switching to team heterosexual, the parents could someday become grandparents.
