The people who beat up that girl are not Christian, no matter what beliefs they ascribe to having, they clearly do not follow them.

I've never known Christians to be the most accepting of people, but to simply ignore the 11th commandment will, essentially, permanently taint them in the eyes of Christ. No heaven for that kid, no matter how far down he kneels in prayer.

I know that this may be the case but these are the faitheist people i know. They pray to god all the time and they always turn up to the atheist "me and a small crew" vs the Christians "extremely large group of quiet people", and they act like they are god, they know nearly all the bible parts off by heart and are the only people that argue. It seems that the moral deeply involved into a faith a person is the more likely they appear to be violent. People who keep their faith quiet who are christians are extremely nice, do christians believe in the christian extremists and condone their activities or do you believe they are using faith to get away with self fish purposes?

PS. has anyone had that 1 odd kid that was a dumbass and no-one listened to?
I know I'm an atheist but I still hate dumb people, atheist or not. Sorry I was really annoyed at a debate when an atheists argument was nothing more then "how can god exist if we can't see it?", that was a moment in history where i argued against a fellow atheist. But he was dumb and he should die. Sorry, carry on....
I don't mind Christians who are outspoken about their faith, even they wouldn't support crap like that.

But he was dumb and he should die.
That's nice.

Some christians are evil, some aren't. Same as some Wiccans are evil, some arent. Some Satanist are evil, some aren't. Theres good and bad in every walk of life.

its not as if you have to stay you can go if you wanted to
well no actually we couldn't because the band peeps locked the doors and didn't say why.
then we heard the singer moan on about how it was so trafic that his parents died in a car crash, etc. but the odd thing is it wasnt real cause he was reading dot points off his hand and he stopped momentarily after every sentence.

anyway back to the topic. the group put up chicken wire fences all around the concert hall and the canteen wasnt open. they were starving us so that we were more sceptible to any ideas that put into our head.

Ps.(slight over-reaction)
:woohoo:

...Thats a weird saying, but I like it.

Wow, you learned Latin, I'm a real Satanist and I don't even know any Latin. Maybe you weren't being attacked for being a Satanist, but for being what I like to call a violent Satanist. Someone who goes around viciously preaching against Christianity by doing things like scrawling Satanic symbols all over themselves and tearing Christian messages to shreds with their teeth. Violent Satanists are very likely to be met with hostility because, quite simply, they present a hostile demeanour. Can you blame people for not liking the guy preaching against their beliefs with vigor and invading their myriad sermons and services?

Also, by doing this, you're likely giving Satanists a bad name, please don't do that again.

I conducted a test for my book. So as an atheist I pretended to worship satan, I even learnt some latin for it. Many of the christians i knew respected my "beliefs" and they even complimented it. But i was also surprised when i was physically and verbally attacked by a few. Luckily i was no weak kid and practiced my bouncing skills :jam: . But i also notice that a girl who participated in my study who pretended to worship satan who was also an atheist was also physically abused by a christian. She was being beaten. Christians are not the nice kinda of people you may believe. Of course the testees did not make a complaint to the cops or anyone for the purpose of the test. We also had a so-called spy sit through a special christian meeting through the school. She claims they are finding ways to convert everyone. And surprisingly enough they had a christian rock concert at the school promoting christianity. I was angered. I got a friend to hold up a promotional bit of paper and i ripped it apart with my teeth.:bonk: "Seperation of the state and the church" This was at a public school. I decided to collect video footage of brainwashing at stake. I had someone attend a rock concert at night. They did not claim it was religious of any sort. But near the end they got everyone in groups and started talking about god.

Well this put an end to my day of research and decided just to be a smart-*** for the rest of the night. Oh my, it was fun.

According to my previous research it seems christians are more abusive towards women and I can't stand women bashers. I am sometimes classed as a heartless person but i cant stand violence against women.
Oh man, you're lucky these people are nice. Very very nice. In other forums of lesser integrity, you would get flamed with a bunch of posts containing many many astriches. All I can say is, how 2 not think be4 you post.

i would like to know why some christians go door-knocking, asking people to be christian and then they wonder why the door gets slammed in their face.

like the other day. i was home alone and a couple of jehova's witnesses came to the door (which is odd cause my house is really hard to find) and they wouldn't leave until i took some of their propaganda poster and "donated" towards the priests salary.

quite frankly if people arent something to begin with and they don't want to change, why do people find it in their best interests to convert them or make them do something they don't really wanna do?

this is a SOS going out to anyone here is RF who has trieed to convert someone and i would like to ask you why you would
A. waste your time
B.annoy people
C.waste your lives so others may waste their lives answering your stupid messages!!!

why why why why why why??????

Because general courtesy is expected?

That is wrong, I can't believe they made you "donate".

If you knew a bomb(for the sake of the situation, this bomb is impossible to deactivate or move) were going to explode in your neighborhood in one day, would you not go tell everyone? YOu might find some who already know, some who won't believe you, but if you find one person who didn't know and believes you, the whole trip was worth it :D

I stopped worrying about Christians a long time ago. No point in getting into it with them. I still get in debates from time to time, but not very often.

The thing I constantly find myself wondering is, are the people who are being more aggressive the TRUE Christians or is it the passive ones. Both would say they were the true way, but which is actually the one. Personally I would say that it's the aggressive ones that are the true versions of Christianity, because that's the way the religion has been since it's beginning, and they are the ones that follow the book more closely. This is just an opinion, but I think others should consider what I'm saying.

Coldrock, I stayed out of this because the thread title 'offended' me - I have a tad of Christian in me remaining, and I thought it an extremely insensitive thread tile - bound to upset the Good Christians on this forum (+ the little remaining bit in me).:D

I think you have been given the right answers; unfortunately som Christians do not behave like Christians, and that is sad - it does however not mean that you can tar all Christians with the same brush.

You may be an atheist, but your above remark is, I trust, not the view of all atheists. I know some jolly decent atheists, and If I was to do what you have done, perhaps all atheists should be seen as thinking that 'dumb people should die' - I think not. I know not. I am sorry that you were targetted by someone calling himself a Christian, but you should know better than to help incite injustice and judgementalism by going down to the same level as those you condemn.

I confess...

I am an EVIL Christian.

My first offense is that I care for others. Heck, I volunteered over 500 hours last year alone. Then I have this terrible habit of helping my neighbors out! I wait patiently in ambush to help them paint a fence or even mow their lawn. I won't even talk about comforting the sick and those who have lost loved ones. This love thing can be down right dangerous, ya know!

Then there is my rabid faith. I pray each and every day and for every meal. I waste countless hours studying my Bible and sharing my faith with others. I hate to admit this, but there have been at LEAST a dozen converts among my acquaintances. Will the insanity ever cease?

Finally, I am completely eaten up with hope. Yeah, I keep not worrying about myself and concentrate on others instead. You know the other day, I was castigated by my fellow Hopians for my singing. They kept telling me how much they liked it and all. I hate to say this, but I suspect that they are as equally evil as I am.
