Are Mizrahi Jews and Gulf Arabs the same?

The same? No, not really.

I thought Arabs and Jews are both Semite and that:

A) Levantine Arabs and Ashkenazi Jews are Semites mixed with European blood

B) Gulf Arabs and Mizrahi Jews are the 'true' Semites

Because for thousands of years there were Jews in Arab countries and they didn't look any different

Right, they can be related, but that doesn't make them the same.

Semite, anyway, is a cultural and linguistic classification. So it doesn't work in the sense you mean.

The majority of the ancestry of the Levantine Arabs comes from the Levant and has been there for many millennia.

Mizrahi Jews have all sorts of genetic ancestries.
