Are Religions and Gods manmade?

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
Simple. I hate and detest the bad things religion brings. Don't tell me it doesn't because Islam today is still tearing itself apart over who has the right version to believe. Something Christianity went through 300-400 years ago.

What is your goal in trying to oppose me?
My "goal" is to give info about Islam that show that it is not an evil religion.
If you do not like religion i still wonder why you are in a religioues forum, discussing what you hate every day.

I come here to discuss to share compassion and find good people to speak with.
Personally i dont see other religious people as bad or evil. I like all kind of spiritual or religious people.
And i learn to like non believers too.

But honestly i do not like rude ignorant people

How many religions have you studied so you know that what you see as so bad to be true? How many years did you study religion every day?

The same way Christians worship a god via St Paul. Muslims god via Mohammed. You know exactly what I mean.
No, Bahais believe in Baha'u'llah but we worship only God. the same applies to Muslims and Muhammad.
The problems are America are criminals, jobs, long term unemployed, illegal immigrants, wages of the majority, massive shipping out of the industry, raising the taxes needed, debt and the split between Democrats and Republicans.
That is a lot of problems to solve and it won't happen overnight.
It has only worsened with Covid-19 and Trump's reign, so we are now even further behind.

And how do they become Baha'is if so few know of them?
I was hoping you'd ask that. Baha'is need to get off their duffs and get the word out. The Guardian Shoghi Effendi said that 77 years ago. I consider it despicable that so many people in the United States have still not heard of Baha'u'llah.... There is no excuse for that in this information age.

425. If Bahá’ís Fail They Are Partly Responsible for Agony of Mankind

"There is so much suffering, such a great and desperate need for a true remedy and the Bahá’ís should realize their sacred obligation is to deliver the Message to their fellowmen at once, and on as large a scale as possible. If they fail to do so, they are really partly responsible for prolonging the agony of humanity."

(From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi to an individual believer, December 18, 1943)

It seems to me that you like to talk about me a lot, you, you, you, stating where I am at and what I need to do.
You know what I need to do in order to see the Light.
You seem to think you know everything about me. What is that called?

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

I gave it to you, in post #422.
And we told you it wasn't good enough.

Your belief is based on the Bible telling you it happened and nothing else. You then find any evidence to fit.

So people need to be converted. Because just telling them isn't going to mean they will believe, take on the message or do a thing to change. And there's your problem.

Bahaullah's main aim is to stop something that can't be stopped by his methods. Because some will seek to take what others have on any excuse possible. The need for an Army to crush opposition is the only solution. Talking and sanctions won't do the job.

But does it go 1 jot to solving global warming and all the other problems we face as a species? No, because Bahaullah didn't know about the problems we face, so never addressed them. Your hope that coming together to solve 1 problem, solves another isn't plausible. They could spend Millenium stopping the problem of wars, murder, genocide without an Army and ignore the real problem.

No, they do not need to be converted. We need to tell them about it and then it is their choice.
Tell them what and what do they choose?

Tell them about all the wars that are going on, offer an unworkable solution and the choose to ignore it or take up the unworkable solution?

Yet the workable solution is the role model for the world and always is. In its infancy, it is not seen as a powerful force, but the infant grows with its God given power of influence and soon the potential is seen.

It is what all the Messengers of God have offered and what all great nations have been built upon.

What brings those nations to ruin, is when they then neglect what God has offered.

It is a failure to implement the God given systems, that causes the lack of virtues and moral guidance and in turn all the symptoms of self, which are rampant materialism, pernicious nationalism, unbridled liberty, eroding predudices and soul destroying ungodliness.

Nicely put, but not feasible.

You have to offer real solutions to real problems. So let's start with Crime, how do Baha'is deal with the criminal element? That has to include drugs, theft, prostitution, murder, assault, etc.

Next are wars and genocide. How do Baha'is propose you deal with the element that resort to wars and genocide?

They will only consider it if it offers solutions. If the solutions provide workable options they will consider it.

When they choose to look and consider its merits, the system given by Baha'u'llah is working and a available as a role model.

It is fostering a Unity in our Diversity.

First path is Education within a system based on virtues and morality. A system that fosters the unique individual capacity of each person given with empathy and compassion.

With drugs, there are no restrictions to rid the world of its pernicious effects.

No one is saying it will be easy. Nothing worthwhile comes easily.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Most religious people do not care about solutions to the world's problems, all they care about are their beliefs. Only the Baha'is care about solutions and the Baha'i Faith offers solutions, but most religious people are so entrenched in their beliefs they cannot see anything else, and they do not want to. Atheists are more interested in solutions than religious people.

People here have seen the Bahaullah solution and rejected it. What makes you think the world will accept it when no one has accepted it here that wasn't previously a convert?

Within an education system, Baha'is build? When people are educated and demand what Westerners have what will you tell them?

No restrictions on drugs. Does that mean legalise them?

The easiest thing is to remain in the system they know and understand.
