Are sperm cells human?

I think this is just a female hyperbolic reaction to the conception personhood bill. The congresswoman promoting it is trying to show the ridiculousness of the conception personhood idea and it's infringement on a woman's personal freedoms by implementing the same kind of policy on men. It's quite brilliant in my opinion.

If you agree that sperm cells are human, do they deserve human rights?
Hmm.
if one assumes you are talking about human sperm as opposed to frog sperm, I would say that yes, human sperm are human.

are human sperm people?
No.

nope.
because a sperm is not an unborn child.

Though It would be most curious the "punishment" for such a thing.
Especially since you would have to punish every menstrual cycle for the same reason...

A sperm cell has the potential to become a fully functioning human tax payer, but only if it is deposited in the correct place. Should masturbation be considered mass murder?
No more so than every menstrual cycle...
Besides, where do you draw the line?

I mean, if you think about it how does one determine twins, or triplets?

is each sperm to be counted as a single count, or a double, or a triple?

I agree, it was quite brilliant.
Unless it backfires...

And with the idiocy that is running rampart in government...

just saying.

Yes they are human because they carry human DNA.

No they do not need human rights because they are not humn beings. It takes the mating of sperm and egg to make a human being.

I agree, however potential doesn't mean much.

Of course not. God has provided for only one sperm out of thousands to be successful (the others die) and murder is only valid for human beings.

In other words it is a masterly formed decption to draw attention away from the truth. Sounds like the work of the devil to me. And the Bible does say that he is very clever.

They are human and they should be frozen and preserved until they can all potentially be used in the future.

What is the penalty for cannibalism? Would wipe out the sex industry.

When a woman has her period, she lets out an egg, the female counterpart to the sperm. So should a woman be arrested for wearing a tampon and throwing it out?

If they could actually lay the eggs we would either eat them or fertilize them.

But women are just supposed to be baby-pooping-machines!

Kidding. I agree, it was an awesome way to show how rediculus that bill is.
