Are squirrels ungrateful.

City squirrels are smarter. In Baltimore they'd use the aerial phone lines as highways. They'd tightrope safely up to my 2nd story balcony when they saw me for their daily spoonful of peanut butter.:D

Hey I live in the city, well, I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The squirrels here are pretty smart, we just have a lot of back roads, streets, and expressways, and highways. And a lot of cars.

Awwwww, I love these little guys! :D

He probably was startled or felt threatened... Don't take it personally.

Squirrels aren't ungrateful. They're just jerks.

I'll sometimes let my dog off the leash on walks because the squirrels will taunt him, thinking that he can't get at them. They need a little more fear of Dog in them.

That doesn't look like anything native to Texas, Dallas. That looks like a European rabbit, maybe even a hare.

Is that a pet, or part of a wild population?

Hes wild right here in Texas...native..we have 1,000's of them. They recently drew in a little bit of bobcats..the bob cats smelled them and started roaming our neighborhoods..so now we have even more coyotes!

So you would call him a hare???I have way more pictures..They like to come in our yard we have bird seed feeders..those seeds drop and sprout stuff I think they like...

We had one little guy..(I could identify him) he came in our yard every day..then he would relax..at night even ..(dusk) ..he would lay on his back and roll around kind of like a cat scratching his back and then just sleep..We just sat at the table with the chiminea burning..That was last (year before this one) spring summer...then he disapeared...

Anyway sorry to ramble..Yes these guys are wild..we have them like some communities have squirrells...we have to drive slow in our cars to avoid hitting them..
