Probability is about the only evidence I would submit for the likelihood of life, even intelligent life, existing elsewhere. Given the number of planets and the extent of time. But even if we send out probes for centuries we may not get an unambiguous answer though, since any life found might be attributed to Earth or any pre-Earth forming object. Unless the signatures of such were so totally different as to present a different case. I voted for the last of course.

The universe is infinity large so I think we will be hardly alone. I also think we will discover more earth like planet with human like species.

Please discuss your reason.
No.

"Life" is merely a portion of the progression of nature that can be related to a spectrum...

with atoms at 500 nm and humans at 600nm. Everything we know is just a small portion or reality.

As any being who exists on a planet covered with biology, in a solar system surrounded by other orbiting bodies almost fully covered in at least basic organic compounds, it should be self evident that life is just another facet of the physical, chemical, and geologic processes that comprise existence.

It is highly unlikely that we are alone.

That being said, the prospect of simultaneous existence is rendered pretty null and void given our very short lifespans and the vast amounts of time, space, and technological ignorance which separates us from those hypothetical neighbors.

Isolation tends toward the illusion of complete solitude.

If your next door neighbor is 100,000 years away, what does it matter?
