Are we blessed for doing good?

What's a "protozoah"?

One several hundred millions years old direct ancestor. Think of an amoeba.

Doing something in the name of my ancestors is like if my father passed away and to give him honor since he is a writer, I write a book for him and dedicated to him. Since there is no deceased, doing things for family are no different.

What do you mean by your post?

Katrin Himmler is strongly related with Reichsführer SS H. HImmler. The main architect of the holocaust. He was the brother of her grandpa, himself a fanatic nazi.

Should she do things in the name of her ancestors?

New word for the day. Yep. Ancestors way back when.

Should
he? Hopefully, if he did, they would be good and productive things. I'm not one to condemn people morally for actions they can change if they wanted. I'm no more human than Hitler and Himmler. Just, if I had children, they wouldn't be allowed around them.

I think he should, though. That would probably better him if he did good things in the name of his ancestors. I'm sure his ancestors weren't all murderers. I mean, I have some murderers in my immediate ancestral family (a generation and two back) and I don't murder in the name of them, but if I had to pray a Christian prayer since they are Christian to honor them because they are my family, yes I'd cringe but no one would get hurt. Some common sense is involved too.

Yes. Our ultimate family. Amoebas.

Actually, it is a she.

I think we are very different. i do not identify with my heritage at all. i do not attribute any respect whatsoever to my ancestors by default, just because they are my ancestors. And if I do share something with them, it is beyond my control. Juts an accident of birth without any value whatsoever. I would say the probability of finding someone who deserves my "prayers" is independent from my genetic imprint.

Yeah, we are. I don't know too much about my ethnic or blood related heritage but I do by culture. I can't live without it. It's like disowning who you are as a person. Even if I didn't honor my ancestors, trying to connect with physically living family here is already hard enough. However, since I do honor my ancestors they do help me out in those regards. I honestly don't understand how anyone cannot see their heritage close to them spiritual wise, I guess to put it.

What can I say?
