As a former teacher, I can tell you this is true. Every child that is diagnosed as "special needs" gets extra state money. I'm not sure why since these kids are mainstreamed and, with the exception of a few who actually have an assistant sitting with them in class, most are not getting any extra help. Instead they are allowed to disrupt the entire class so that nobody in the classroom is able to learn.Saw11_2000 said:I'm surprised they told you they got money for getting children on this medication, I have heard nothing of this.
