Are we over medicating ourselves?

I'm surprised they told you they got money for getting children on this medication, I have heard nothing of this. Perhaps it would be a good conspiracy for TranceAm to investigate.

As a former teacher, I can tell you this is true. Every child that is diagnosed as "special needs" gets extra state money. I'm not sure why since these kids are mainstreamed and, with the exception of a few who actually have an assistant sitting with them in class, most are not getting any extra help. Instead they are allowed to disrupt the entire class so that nobody in the classroom is able to learn.

Oh, I know that, but much of that money is for helping other students who might be having trouble, title I, speach, stuff like that that ADHD kids might be having trouble learning.

I doubt the teachers get a pay hike every time they say YOU HAVE ADHD!

They would diagnose the whole class with it.

I spelled it right. But it's from years of looking at my own pill bottles
