I am just curious how many writers we have on the forum. Do you or have considered writing and publishing a work of writing? It is so easy to self-publish these days. If you have published, I would like to read about your experience.

I have 6 full length and 3 part-length books that I've written. I'm not allowed to talk about them here.

I wouldn't ask the title if your work due to the anonymity of the forum, but of the 3 books, what is the subject of your favorite one, if it's possible to say without revealing your identity.

The first book (which I have withdrawn from the market) was focused exclusively on the relationships between love and intimacy. For the second book, which I released in late October, I branched out to include a number of themes related to love and intimacy, such as abuse, healing, and vulnerability.

Not an author but I have written about 500,000 words concerning my life and opinions, the latter probably not that important but the former I believe might help many. I haven't decided as yet how to present what I have learnt or how it might be of use to others, but the act of writing all this did at least make me more fluent in expressing what I wanted to say, which was not easy given that a technical background (engineering) tends to make one want to be precise and concise, and my love of fiction has generally taken second place to non-fiction, even if I have read much of what might be expected of one to be reasonably literate. Who knows what the future holds though.
