Are You a Feminist?

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

You are a total feminist. This doesn't mean you're a man hater (in fact, you may be a man).
You just think that men and women should be treated equally. It's a simple idea but somehow complicated for the world to put into action.

you Are 57% Feminist

You aren't a total traditionalist when it comes to gender roles. But you're no feminist either.
You generally think that women should be treated as equals, but you're not convinced the world should be gender neutral.

You are certainly a feminist - whether you know it or not.
You believe in gender equality, at least most of the time. You also believe there are a few exceptions.

Yes, and those exceptions would be lowering the standards in physically-demanding jobs just so that women can qualify to do them. That is not equality. We are not physically equal to men in strength and other physiological aspects. It does not mean they are better than we are. We are simply different. We complement each other. Think that's old-fashioned? Perhaps. But it's a fact.

If you scored lower than 100% you need to rethink your priorities. It's not rocket science here.

I scored 100% but I don't actually consider myself a feminist. I think even calling it "feminism" makes it sound like one gender is supported more than the other. I prefer to say I believe in equality and leave it at that.

That's fine and dandy, but given the current power structure, any push towards equality would ultimately benefit women more. Sure, the patriarchy hurts men too, but I see no issue with calling myself a feminist while attacking the power structures that harm both genders.

(I think I'm 100% feminist, but this quiz apparently disagrees)

I identify as a feminist.

I hate quizzes like this because they always elicit a "maybe.."

Women should be economically and socially independent. They shouldn't rely on men to take care of them. As a class, I can agree with this statement, but individually a woman should not be ashamed that she's economically dependent on her husband.

There is no such thing as a "man's job." It is wrong for men to be given preference for any job position, even if women traditionally aren't in that field. Well, male strip dancing is a man's job, etc.

Analytically inept. I also hate how "fake beauty standards" is now incorporated into the feminist movement. Idealized beauty has always been around, and it applies to both genders. (Ripped abs)
