Do you smoke or chew?

Ive done both.

I quit not to avoid cancer or early death... I quit cuz I wanted more money for BIG exotic spiders, flowers for my shrine, candles, and incense. Thats just me.

Cigs are quite a rip off financially...so I switched to nicotine gum, cuz insurance covers it...

so I get to be a nicotine addict free of charge! Woot! Woot! :D

Desires of the flesh. Everyone has them. Some get fat eating sweets, some die mountain climbing or sky diving, others racing their cars. We tend to seek a false sense of euphoria in different ways that endangers our physical self. But the flesh is weak. Which is why we are saved by grace. People don't do such things to die.

Smoking, as well as other desires of the body, are paid for by the death of the body (fate of it) due to it's imperfections(s). Which is why we are told to store up our treasures in heaven (spirit). It's all about where the heart (mind) is, through the taught Word (which is spiritual knowledge).
