Not wanting to run the man down, but there has been much evidence of him faking his so called powers, take a look on you-tube, he wasn't even that good at it.
He is not trying to impress those who would never believe anyway. There has never been a video showing a fake, of all his thousands of materializations there are a few that show how it 'could' have been faked with no evidence that it actually was faked.

I've been a vegetarian my whole life, being born to strictly vegetarian parents. There have been times that I've eaten meat by accident, different types, and found each type to either be repulsive in taste, or neutral. I do like mock chicken though.

My main reasons for continuing to be a vegetarian in my adult life is a deep compassion and concern for animals as well as finding meat to be absolutely disgusting. I'd be no more likely to eat the flesh, blood or chew on the bones of a dead animal than I would a human being. It's all the same stuff to me. :confounded:

However I do acknowledge that eating meat is natural to the human diet. Or more specifically, that it is possible to have a diet that includes meat and be healthy. I find that to be one of the disappointing aspects of nature, but nature is full of violence and horror.

But come on, it just cannot be done, and where is the factory making all these trinkets ?.

Seen this a hundred times. You never see an object.
because you don't want to see, anyway as long as your happy believing in him that's all that matter, and I believe he did these tricks to draw the people to him, and maybe he had a good message which is far more important than silly tricks.

Why did God make non-vegetarian food tasty and satisfying? ;) (Of course, to test us)

You, know God did not make the frying pan or grill. We did. No creature in nature cooks their food. If you taste meat as it is (raw with no spices) I'm sure you will find it pretty disgusting;).....

Are you a vegetarian/vegan? Why have you become one? Was it religion, health, compassion? Do you feel better than when you ate meat (if you ever did so)?

I am a vegetarian for 7 years already I can say that my immune system is better now and my mind is clear and it is easier to stay conscious and alert if needed.

Looking forward to reading your stories :)

I am mostly a vegetarian.....
I have been a vegan
an Ovo Vegetarian
a Pescatarian (Pescetarian)
as well as a Pollotarian
But if I am to catagorize myself I am more of a Flexitarian these days

As to why, it just seemed to go that way naturally, it was not religion (technically), or health, although my health has improved greatly. I can no longer eat he standard American version of read meat (Steak, Hamburger etc.), if I do I do not feel well, but the same can be said for your standard junk food as well. Junk food will make me feel sick these days.

Why not religion technically; it was not my religion that started it, it was my mother-in-law's, who use to live with us and do most of the cooking. She is a devout Buddhist. My wife, who is not a Buddhist is also a mostly vegetarian diet. Our biggest weakness in this area is good Chinese food, she is from China and put us in a good Chinese restaurant, around lunch time, and all bets are off

And this process has been going on for about 7 years

But come on, it just cannot be done,
How did you determine that position? You would probably say that about all paranormal phenomena.
and where is the factory making all these trinkets ?.
That has been investigated too by Dr. Erlunder Harroldson and they all say this is not their products. And his most prolific materialization days came at a time when motorized vehicles could not even reach his village. And he would produce fruits out of season, asking people what they would like, materializations at a distance, producing very hot fresh cooked treats on demand, and much, much more. And his closest associates (which would have to be his 'trinket' confederates) say he is divine and these things cannot be explained. Also professional magicians have said they could not do these things without prior setup but again and again Sai's miracles are situational. For example, he would ask them which Hindu god image they revere most and that image would appear on their materialized ring. Try that at home:)

He always said that miracles were not important but were his 'calling cards'. They attract people to him so he can give them what he really wants to give them; the keys to liberation itself.

I use to do a bit of magic and yes I could do them at home, as I said, he's not that good at it, we will have to make a thread about it.

Could you ask the person what they want and then produce it? Could you produce fruits out of season upon request? Can you produce hot treats on the spot and then provide more when more people arrive? Can you cause holy ash to appear on pictures at a distance? Can you produce something based on a unexpected request?

I think you are underestimating the many and numerous types of miracles associated with this figure to just those you can fake. So many things do not allow for fakery that it becomes overwhelming. Read some personal stories.

This is one subject where I do claim a lot of knowledge. I've discussed this with you in the past and got the impression that your interest was the writings and videos of the usual skeptical critics of everything. Before I consider your opinion informed you would at least have to be aware of the research done by western researchers most notably Dr. Erlendur Haraldsson .
