If i could categorize women that im attracted to, life would sure be a lot easier. I like strong women physically and mentally, but the woman I have been with for years and years now can be broken like a toothpick. I couldnt be happier, and I dont think thats an attribute that makes or breaks a relationship for me.

Yep.

It's funny, the song 'Independant Woman' popped immedately into my head upon reading the thread - but Destiny's Child weren't singing it. :p Click here. Go on, you know you want to! :jiggy:

I have to admit... Sometimes the small waify goth ones get me... grrrrowl... :D
I'm so scared that I'd break them though.

But strength and confidence can't be beat.

I'm with you Painted, I love nothing more than than a small, pale, waifish goth girl, but at the same time, she's got to be a strong willed and independant, small, pale, waifish goth girl. The only thing that gets me going more than that, are tattooed punk guys.

I have always disliked "feminists" becuase they represent a movement that is based upon hatred and ignorance. In fact, feminism and fascism are the same doctrine in my mind. I love women that are erudite; that I can argue with; discuss philosophy or poetry with; and have sex with. :)
So I don't really care for the "strong, independent" types. They always seem to go too far, and end up disenchanting everyone around them. Most of the time they're not strong or independent, they just use that as a eupheimism for what they really are: a *****.

Welcome to the Forum, Adam!

By any chance, do you spend a lot of time listening to Rush Limbaugh?

Heh yeah I know what you mean. One of my best friends is one of the most outspoken feminists I know and the constant barrage of male bashing can be incredibly depressing/maddening/amusing depending on what kind of mood I am in.

Maybe it's my character (or maybe age group) but I know of no woman who is a feminist; all the women I know are quite happybeing superior to us men.

hahah yeah fluffy so true.

My cousin's like that, and when she really gets going, you can tell she has no idea about men at all!

Hehe mines the other way around. All the feminists I know (personally) feel that they are superior to men and don't mind telling me so either. It helped me to differentiate between women who are strong, and women who have such a desperate need to be strong that they must gain superiority over the other gender to remove threats to their strength. I just find it difficult to have a successful relationship with the latter, not for that sake of trying of course :).

No, actually I depise the man. His doctrine is also based on hatred, seperation, and ignorance; just like feminism. On top of that, he's a fat hypocrite.
