It's a simple question.

Each of us falls somewhere on a spectrum between perfectly content & utterly miserable.

This world would be a vastly different plce 2 live if more people were 2 experience genuine, lasting happiness.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Well. Happiness depends on perspective.

Happy that it never ends and happy that it's finally over. ;0)

Simplify your life. This is really about identifying the things you love (see above) and then eliminating everything else as much as possible. By simplifying your life in this way, you create time for your happiness, and you reduce the stress and chaos in your life. In my experience, living a very simple life is also a pleasure in itself.

This was a good one. I really need to simplify my life, too much stuff and clutter. I think this will help me mentally, physically, and even spiritually.

Thank you for sharing :)

Some random thoughts ...
Many people do not want to admit they are unhappy. Often an outsider is a better observer of happiness.
Culturally, or because of circumstance (who surrounds you) the idea can be vague.
Happiness itself has varieties, like contentment, excitement at a birthday party, or favorite team winning a game, or having healthy relationships.

Happiness comes from within and it's up to you to choose to be or not (like Tolstoy said If you want to be happy. Be.). No one nor no thing can make you happy. They can only do or produce results that you can be happy about. I've often heard people say that if they won the lottery they would be happy. I wish they could understand that if you are not happy now, you probably will not be happy no matter how much money you have.

Agree.

One of the main tenets of Buddhism states that simply wanting people, things or situations creates unhappiness. For example, if you didn’t want that new car then you’d be happy with the one you already own. It’s not your old car that is causing your unhappiness, but the desire for the car that you don’t have.

Too often we put our lives on hold. Instead of appreciating the way things are right now, we believe that we’ll only be happy if external conditions were met. Instead of relying on these outside factors, you must learn to turn inward and realize that your happiness depends on only one thing—your very own thinking.

Unconditional love is another key factor.

So far, in human history, it has been relatively rare.

Examples include Buddha & Christ & many other enlightened beings who never had a religion named after them.

I love having my mind blown. Or even slightly tickled. So I found that site and I am, I must report, in a quite unblown or tickled state.
