Are you insane?

Being like most people.
I think it involves a lot of undergarments.

It is winter here, you would be insane if you left home without adequate protection.

Edit... Our post person just called, wearing thick heavy fleece top, Bermuda shorts and sandals

That would indeed be the normal thing to do.
I sometimes wear socks in winter.
But it's so much trouble to put them on,
& then they must be taken off again later.

Do you question your sanity or mental health?

Why or why not?
Not usually, but I watched the movie "fractured" last night and I identified way too much with the crazy guy. I really wanted him to be right.
Ok that's not entirely true, sometimes I do question my sanity, at least once a week. I wonder if anyone else looks at reality like I do because no one seems to get what I'm saying half the time.

What's sane, really? Its a pretty loose term. One can be compassionate and kindly, yet do things that others find 'not right', like spend half of their paycheck feeding squirrels and birds. Someone else could be career oriented and successful, but may be hostile and paranoid of people around them.

I'd try to narrow down what you're looking for a little more than just 'sane'.

This is a little more exact, and will probably be more helpful of a goal to aim for.
Sanity to me is having a good grip on reality. That is one very important piece!

Normals....they're the ones filled with empathy, spirituality,
love for their fellow man, holding regular jobs, & having
utterly no interest in scrap iron. Are they evil?

I'm in Iowa. The people you just described are considered pretty weird here...

What's reality? Jess sees it one way, Phil sees it another. Who's right? Who's wrong? Of course Jess says Jess and Phil says Phil...

Iowa....
I've heard that only strumpets & football players come from there.
What position do you play?

I watched The Waterboy too many times and tend to just yell running and screaming at whatever target I imagine has insulted my beverage.
