Are you more yourself here or in real life?

In relation to discussing religion.

Outside of online forums, I never discuss my views on religion. Ever. It's simply never brought up. In real life, I think people are generally more concerned about their jobs than discussing something like religion.

It is only here on the forum where I am able to express myself in relation to this topic.

What about you?

Less here. In "reality" (iow, my real life outside of RF), I'm pretty much easy going and prefer to avoid conflict at almost any cost and am rather goofy with my constant barrage of puns, thus my trying to be punny.

It would help if I knew who I am.

Aren't I whoever I am and whatever I'm acting at that moment?

Am I any less Rival as I sit typing this than I am to you reading this, only on a screen? How, I'm the same person!

I spend a lot of time in an "Old Folks Home". I do not think it would help or comfort most there, so I do not discuss religion. Many of the CNA's are immigrants and as a result there are a higher percentage of Muslims than in the general population and they do not bring up their beliefs either.

Amanaki is the same online as in real life, no need to be different just because it is discussion online and not face to face.

I like discussing religion in real life but I don't get as many chances. Which is why I come here. Also people here are often more knowledgeable. The kind of people who seek these forums out are generally interested in the topics being discussed.

The only people I engage in theological discussion IRL are those that engage me in such a discussion. I don't discuss my worldview unless it's solicited. I prefer people understand my worldview through my actions rather than a description of my views.

As far as where I'm more myself, I make no distinction with regard to behaviors between RF and RL.

More real here, albeit perhaps only because there is better acceptance for my unbelievably, unworkably long sentences.
Cough cough...:p With all due respect...
Luis...I have read your blog in Portuguese...I do believe you speak in a more relaxed and pragmatic way when you express yourself in your Native language:);)

The truth is that I never speak about religion with friends...it is domething very personal and private...

Probably.

Not by a very huge margin, though. And I am well determined to make that margin narrower, perhaps even reverse it entirely.

About the same, except in real life, I will not have a thing to do with anyone that I have marked as a wilful fool. Fools get my compassion, but wilful fools are invisible to me.

Hey, Sunstone... Hows it going dude? Wanna hang out sometime?
