they get me, i get them. they don't run away from me, i don't run away from them. i love them so much actually. they are my friends. so gentle and beautiful.
You just reminded me of a 90-something old lady I know. When I told her how sorry I was to hear her husband had died, she just shrugged, "It's somethin' we all got to do."
I have to admit that people who are terrified of bugs are a big turn off for me. my normal strategy is to let them outside when its possible, I don't even kill poisonous insects in various working environments, although there was one time when I was posted on the Syrian border and the place was infested with vipers, plenty of them met a bitter end at the time.
Are you kidding? I see a spider in the shower and I freak out! Once, a June bug got into our house and I had to get my husband to shoo it away. I don't think I will mentioned the time I was in a car, and this bright green insect was flying around me and I couldn't make it go out the window and I was just freaking out. People laugh at me about this a lot, including myself once the insects and bugs and arachnids are gone.
How can you resist those eyes? They say to me "Pwetty pwease may I jump on your face?"
