It's a simple reminder of the futility of such an endeavor; referring to those who take a position based on faith, which is to say, one that excludes the use of analytical thinking. So, because reason plays no part in forming such positions it shouldn't be expected to make any inroads in changing them. Analytical thinking is simply irrelevant to positions of faith.

Haha yeah, that is a reach, and no, I don't think they'd hurt God. Once you fly high enough, "high" is no longer a consideration, since your position in space no longer measures relative to the surface of the Earth. Assuming God is out in space somewhere, you'd have to suddenly start flying forward rather than up. And when you got there, there would probably be a buttload of Protoss ships waiting to intercept you.

Comparing arrows to religion, some use religion to guide them to a better place, while others use them to kill people, or cause harm. So which religion would you prefer to buy [into]?

Some religions pull people out of trouble, darkness and the currents of the whim of the world. Other religions barrage it with fire and brimstone, touting eternal damnation to all who oppose. Which religion would you prefer?

The best store at the cheapest price? Well, maybe this means that the OP would like to get the best religion with the least effort. Good luck with that, OP.
