Artists you never thought you'd like

I never thought I would like Lou Reed growing up.

Velvet Underground are another example of a band I wrote off only to later find I liked them a lot. I'm not so keen on Reed's solo stuff but some of it is no bad.

Ah, but have you seen his 'blue' period? Or his really early drawings. He was an incredible drawer as a young man.

Fair play. I don't know the first thing about art except sometimes I like it. I like Picasso. Though I never knew it til I visited a museum in Barcelona.

Yeah I really dig that tune "Heroin." I love it! I am going to listen to it right now.
