Wow. Just look at this thread. And it seems to be the same everywhere on the internet... .how is Hillary still ahead in the polls?
I heard an interesting (& disturbing) interview with a young voter on NPR yesterday.
As I roughly recall.....
"I"m like, you know, liking Hillary because she's a woman, & like she's been married to Bill.
And it's important to have like a woman, because, uh, it's time.
And she's been thru like so much, you know. And she like deserves it."

Note:
The above quote should be read with rising inflection.
Every statement sounded like a question.

Yeah. The mind of the average voter is rather frighting.

I'm tempted to dis the young voter, but I'm not so certain that we all improve with age.
Now, all that matters to me is guarding my Social Security payments!
I've seen the young voters. They actually seem to be better than the adults half the time. I see the adults become more and more partisan as they go on in life. The best people to vote are usually the ones that don't because they know its not worth their time for their single vote. You see that is intelligence. However without participation of this more intelligent group of people that have come to the accurate yet damaging conclusion that their single vote doesn't matter we get stupid people elected over and over again.

I found the interview disturbing as well. No consideration of the issues, just talk about the candidates.

Reminds me of the famous quote.

"Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people."
