LOG IN EYE, YET SEE SPLINTER IN OPPONENT'S EYE:
Christians accept that Jonah lived in a whale, Christ walked on water, Christ healed the blind, and that talking in tongues is communication with God.
They sneer that anyone else's religion is nonsense, yet can provide no proof that their own religion is correct, except that the bible, written a hundred years after the death of Jesus, has 1st hand quotes of numerous 100 year old apostles who quote Christ (odd that these old apostles were still alive, still together, and still able to remember what Christ had said when the bible was written).
MULTI-DIMENSIONS:
Now someone proposes ascension to multi-dimensions, and Christians call that nonsense.
Surely m-theory (unproven physics) has shown the possibility of multi-dimensional reality. Yet, M-theory (which is an extension of string theory) supposes many things. It supposes the nature of strings (loops, or short straight segments, etc). All natures of the string seem plausible, yet, none seem correct. Dr. Whitten famously merged all string natures into a single equation by merely adding more dimensions (and if any are wrong, the dimensions will simply disappear). M-theory (and string theory) note the oscillatory nature of strings, but they express those oscillations with simple real numbers. If we take our cue from quantum mechanics (Schroedinger's Equation), we note that the Hamiltonian operator (that is, energy operator) has complex numbers (not just real ones), which likely indicate stored energy (like complex numbers indicating energy storage in capacitors), and the entries of the Hamiltonian operator include imaginary numbers and operators (such as gradients, integrals, Laplacians, etc). Surely, then, M-theory supposes too much and doesn't entertain the notion of more complicated math. Based on the complicated interplay of the Hamiltonian operator, I find it highly unlikely that strings are simple loops. Though they would have to have a closed loop or infinite energies were be involved (loops have to be closed to prevent sudden changes, or the functions would not be analytic, and therefore violated the requirements of Hermitian space. I think that M-theory is on the right track, in deriving Maxwell's Equations, but they are going about it the wrong way (as explained above).
WHAT DOES GOD SAY?:
Apparently all we have to do to get credence is talk to God. All we have to do is writhe on the floor, babble incoherently, then get up and tell everyone that God said that there are multiple dimensions and that Jonah lived inside of a whale.
GUESSING THE SOLUTION:
Science doesn't guess. Science proposes, tests, then comes up with a theory (not a guess). We could guess multi-dimensions all day, but without proof, we are merely speculating. It is the nature of speculation that allows us to believe in virtually anything. So, if we ventured a guess about ascension, we'd also have to venture a guess that Santa Claus is real, and so is the tooth fairy, and so is Fred Flintstone. Surely it is better not to speculate, but to discern what is real and what is not.
