No. I believe the Holy Spirit comes directly from God in the person of Christ. Therefore, I believe Christ directly inspires and influences all Christians - when we listen to Him, that is.
Inspiration is not action, though. St. Peter was the actual person who did the work, right?

We have already been through this in this thread but I will summarize:
Jesus gave the authority to Peter which founded the Church.
"And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it"
As per NT Gospels , Peter proved to be sand not a rock, he betrayed Jesus, cursed him, did weird things and was not present when Jesus was put on the Cross and was crying. Why should Jesus found a "Church" on loose sand? Jesus the prophet did not need people like Peter.

This is the most ridiculous statement that I've seen you make yet. Please do us all a favor and educate yourself:

I am well versed in Catholic Apologetics for I spent a year in a monastery studying it all.

I put this in the debate section that you may challenge and fire your arrows at the Pope! :)

How do you feel, or the RRC view, about the prosperity Gospel slant many American Christians follow (Not Catholic ones)?

It is completely unchristian

Do you think such a doctrinal slant has contributed to some Christians supporting ideas that go against your view of Christianity? Such as Christians supporting people such a Trump who embodies greed and pride. Do you think this slant has influenced the view of capitalism in which the average person benefits from the greed of others but often only concern themselves with the pitfalls if these happen to effect them directly?

The only apostle at the cross was John. To whom did Christ give the keys of heaven?
How do you know that even John was there?
Do Matthew, Marks, Luke mention him? Please
All (12) disciples of Jesus, betrayed Jesus as per NT Gosples, and fled away never to return. Not even the "RocK" did return, he proved to be a heap of sand. Didn't he? Please
