Does it bother you that he also drinks all your beer, and is constantly touching you in inappropriate ways?

No - Angellous always has enough beer for the both of us. I buy him a round, he buys me a round. So far we've had no problems with any of this at all.

If you decide to start fruballing yourself, please don't do it in a public forum.

No one would ever know.

Does black and blue wonder what it would be like to have a third join them? What color would the third be? Would black and blue mind? You could have a threesome.

See above:
Honestly, the only thing that's kept me from it is I'm colorblind (and so is Angellous). Also, it may be a bit too confusing for folks. Two's company and tolerable, but three's a crowd. The third one is my little jewel. :p

My love for Angellous is strictly Platonic.

q1) What perceptions have changed or been altered for you about religion and Christianty specifically since attending your post undergrad work?

q2) We talked about John Spong a few times on here. What do you think of his writings and in particular "A call for a new reformation"
A Call for a New Reformation

q3) Do you feel denominations in Christianity are over-simplifications or accurate divisional lines in ideologies of the that faith? Could you qualify the answer given?

q4) You're and avid musician with a strange taste in the Dixie chicks (sorry the low blow lol) what do you feel is the relationship between music and religion and how do you feel it has positively or negatively impacted faith in general and Christianity specifically?

q5) If I am understanding your prior posts accurately you have presented the idea that secularism and Christianity can be compatible. Am I making and accurate statement when I say that is what your perception is and if so how are they compatible?

Honestly, rob, I don't remember. The most significant change was realizing that Christianity is little more than a thin layer of religion placed over whatever philosophy was popular in the previous generation. This thin layer of religion at its worst is a divorce from the philosophy in which a particular strain of Christianity was born, making Christianity simply an empty shell of a religion that is only a hierarchy or political organization. At its best, Christianity is the story of redemption that people can internalize and self-actualize in a way that leads them to live better and fuller lives, enriched by renewal.

Kinda a moot point to me. Christianity will change as philosophy does. It's inevitable.

q3) Do you feel denominations in Christianity are over-simplifications or accurate divisional lines in ideologies of the that faith? Could you qualify the answer given?

Both. Sometimes denomenational lines are completely meaningless. In the Bible Belt, for example, I've found that most churches are the same in what they teach, how they worship, and what they believe. In other areas, people are quite serious about their divisions.

q4) You're and avid musician with a strange taste in the Dixie chicks (sorry the low blow lol) what do you feel is the relationship between music and religion and how do you feel it has positively or negatively impacted faith in general and Christianity specifically?

Music is a major part of my expression of faith, and it is for many Christians. People who make music exploit this by selling Christians crap.

One of my goals now that I've finished a major portion of my doctoral program is to find Willie Nelson and jam with him a bit. If I can talk him into it, I'd like to record with him or go somewhere where it's legal to smoke some weed with Willie.

Christianity is secular and always has been. The key is to take the best of secularism.
